How bra size conversion works
Convert the band and the cup separately. Bands follow a fixed pattern, so a US 34 is a UK 34, EU 75, FR 90 and AU 12. Cups match up to D, then each country names the larger cups differently.
Pick the size you know and see what it is called in every other country.
| System | Size |
|---|---|
| United States and Canada | 34C |
| United Kingdom and Ireland | 34C |
| Europe (Germany and most of the EU) | 75C |
| France, Belgium and Spain | 90C |
| Australia and New Zealand | 12C |
| Italy | III C |
| Japan (approximate) | C75 |

Japanese sizes put the cup first, as in C70. Japan's standard measures your actual underbust and uses 2.5 cm cup steps, so the conversion here is an approximation. Italian bands use Roman numerals, from I for EU 65 upward, and Italian cups vary between brands. Check the brand's chart for both.
The band numbers match, and so do the cups up to DD. After that they split: the next cup is DDD in the US and E in the UK, then G against F. So a UK 34F is a US 34G.
Each 5 in a European band is one US band, and EU 75 equals US 34. Cups match up to D, then the EU runs straight through the alphabet: EU E is US DD, and EU F is US DDD.
French, Belgian and Spanish bands are the European number plus 15, so EU 75 is FR 90. The cup letters follow the European ones.
Australian and New Zealand bands use dress-size numbers: a US or UK 34 is an AU 12. The cups run AA to DD and then E, F, G.
They are a close starting point. Brands size differently within a country as well as between them, and Japanese and Italian ranges vary most. If a brand publishes its own chart, trust that over any general table.
Measure twice with a tape and get your size in every system.
